Summer 2026
SailJH is a week-long youth sailing program held on Jackson Lake, designed for motivated students ages 12–18 who are ready for hands-on learning, teamwork, and adventure. Each session runs Monday through Friday, with daily drop-off at 9:00 AM and pick-up at 4:30 PM at the Home Ranch Lot. We provide transportation into Grand Teton National Park and all sailing equipment, including life jackets and safety gear. Enrollment is intentionally limited to just 6 students per week to ensure individualized instruction, strong supervision, and meaningful time at the helm. Students spend their days actively sailing, rotating through roles such as skipper, trimmer, and tactician while learning wind awareness, boat handling, knots, water safety, and seamanship fundamentals.
By the end of the week, students will understand points of sail, basic navigation, right-of-way rules, weather awareness (including mountain storm safety), and how to confidently crew on a keelboat. Beyond technical skills, the program emphasizes leadership, communication, environmental stewardship, and decision-making in a dynamic outdoor setting. SailJH is structured, safety-focused, and physically active—students should be comfortable in and around water and ready for full days outside. Tuition is $800 per student, which includes transportation, instruction, park access, and equipment. Scholarships are available on a sliding scale. Students will not be turned away due to inability to pay. Please follow the link below to fill out an application for a Summer Camp Scholarship through One22 Resource Center.
